SPR# JHOD5NEMJD - Fixed a problem where DOLS proxy exception wildcard settings do not follow browser proxy exception wildcard settings.

Technote Number: 1112690

Problem:
Microsoft Internet Explorer's (IE) settings allow you to bypass the proxy
server for server addresses in the Intranet. This option is set in the
Exceptions box under Internet Options --> Connections --> LAN Settings -->
Proxy Server --> Advanced button. You can use an asterisk to wildcard server
names.
The problem is in the way DOLS interprets these wild cards. It searches for
wildcards that match after the first period in the server name. Therefore, if
you are downloading from myserver.lotus.ibm.com and have the Exceptions set to
*.lotus.ibm.com, the proxy settings are not enabled in the Sync Manager.
However, if you have this set to *.ibm.com, DOLS will not consider this server
as part of the wildcard and will set the proxy settings.
This issue has been addressed in DOLS releases 6.0.4 and 6.5.2.
